To read the correct reading of the scale, please make sure that it is using on a firm
stable horizontal area.
Power on :
a) Press Power button (A) to power up the device
b) Model No.”rt2000" appears on the screen for few seconds.
c) Then it is ready to use with manual mode.
Power off
To power off the scale, just press Power button (A) twice quickly.
Manual Mode :
No symbol appears in mode indicator, time and
weight measure manually.
a) Put an object on the weighing platform, scale
will measure and display the weight on the screen.
b) Press Timer button (B) to start/ stop the timer for time measuring.
d) Press Timer Reset button (C) to reset timer as zero
e) Press Tare button (D) to reset the weight as zero from present status.
Change Operation Mode
Press and hold Power button (A) for 2 sec., the scale will change its operation
mode alternately as follows:
Enhance Espresso mode :
Mode indicator appear symbol. Measure
espresso extract time and quantity under silent,
weak vibration environment.
a) When a coffee cup is put on the scale, the scale will measure its weight first and
then tare its weight (reset to 0g).
b) Then the scale start detect any changes of its weight, if its weight is changed more
than 1g (espresso start drops into the cup), Timer will start counting instantly.
c) Once its weight is stable again (espresso stop drops into the cup). Timer stops.
d) Then espresso extract time and coffee quantity are measured on the scale.
Hand Drip mode :
Mode indicator appear symbols. Measure time
and quantity for brewing hand drip coffee.
a) Put your coffee server, coffee dripper, filter
paper and ground coffee one by one on the scale,
the scale will measure their weight one by one and then tare their weight
(reset to 0g).
b) Press Timer button (B) to start time counting manually when you start pouring hot
water into coffee dripper for hand drip coffee pre-brewing.
c) Press Timer button (B) again to stop time counting when whole brewing process is
finished and all coffee drops into coffee cup.
d) The hand drip coffee brewing time and quantity are measured on the scale
Auto Espresso mode:
Mode indicator appear symbol. Fully automatic
time and quantity measuring of espresso
extraction
a) When a coffee cup is put on the scale, the scale will measure its weight first and
then tare the weight (reset to 0g).
b) Scale timer start counting automatically once the weight is tared.
c) When the weight of coffee cup become stable again. Timer will stop counting
automatically.
d) Then espresso extract time and quantity are measured on the scale.
Espresso mode:
Mode indicator appears symbol. Measure
espresso extract time and quantity under noise,
vibration environment.
a) When a coffee cup is put on the scale, the scale will measure its weight first and
then tare its weight (reset to 0g).
b) Then the scale start detect any changes of its weight, if its weight is changed more
than 3g (espresso start drops into the cup), Timer will start counting instantly.
c) Once its weight is stable again (espresso stop drops into the cup). Timer stop.
d) Then espresso extract time and coffee quantity are measured on the scale.
Scale calibration if necessary. Please prepare suitable counterpoise weights before
startup this process.
a) Press and hold Timer Reset button (C) until message “CA1000" is displayed.
b) When message “dL1000" is displayed, put 1kg counterpoise weights on weighing
platform. Scale will start calibrating.
c) When counterpoise weights display on the scale, calibration completed.
Battery Charging:
This scale has a built in rechargeable battery for
power supply. When battery power is insufficient,
you can use any smart phone charger with micro
USB charger cable, plug into the micro USB charger connect to recharge the battery.
If the scale is turn on during recharging, mode indicator will appear symbol to show
out the scale is in charging mode.
